AIA’s ABI remains flat in U.S.

AIA’s Architecture Billings Index (ABI) score for May 2019 demonstrated a little increment in configuration administrations at 50.2, which is somewhat down from 50.5 in April. Any score over 50 demonstrates an expansion in billings. Both the venture request list and the plan contracts file diminished in May yet stayed positive.

“The last four back to back months, firm billings have either diminished or been level, the longest time of that dimension of supported delicate quality since 2012,” said AIA Chief Economist Kermit Baker, PhD, Hon. AIA.

“While the two investigation into new ventures and the estimation of new structure contracts stayed positive, the two of them mellowed in May, another sign the measure of pending work in the pipeline at firms might begin settle.”
